About Melinda R. Short-Russell, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC
Melinda R. Short-Russell, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 19 years of clinical experience in aesthetics as a clinical aesthetician, medical and aesthetic dermatology, clincial research, trauma, medical, surgical and complex wound care. She specializes in aesthetic medicine, skin rejuvenation, and advanced treatment planning with an emphasis on natural-looking outcomes and long-term skin health.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from The George Washington University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Duke University. Her educational background, combined with extensive clinical experience, supports a patient care philosophy centered on safety, precision, education, and beautiful results.
Melinda’s experience in dermatology adds an important layer to her aesthetic practice, allowing her to approach cosmetic concerns with a deeper understanding of skin conditions, skin health, and comprehensive treatment strategies.
